London, UK – 3 October 2023 – Teens in AI, a dynamic social impact-driven initiative, is thrilled to unveil its strategic collaboration with UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, founded in 1945 with a mission to promote world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences, and culture.
This landmark partnership, unveiled as part of the Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2023, offers a unique platform for emerging young visionaries to explore the vast potential of artificial intelligence in driving social change. Both Teens in AI and UNESCO share a common belief that harnessing technology can pave the way for a more equitable world, where everyone has an equal opportunity to unlock their full potential.
UNESCO’s core philosophy goes beyond building classrooms and celebrating scientific breakthroughs; it aspires to use education, social and natural sciences, culture, and communication as catalysts to achieve the audacious goal of building peace in our global society.
Elena Sinel, Founder and CEO of Teens in AI, expressed: “Our collaboration with UNESCO marks a significant milestone in our mission to inspire and empower young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of technology and artificial intelligence. Together, we aim to shape a future where innovation and education drive positive change worldwide.“
The Global Media and Information Literacy Youth Hackathon, a key part of the Global Media and Information Literacy Week Youth Agenda Forum, offers young people worldwide a unique opportunity to create innovative solutions for media and information literacy. UNESCO and partners invite global youth to join this virtual hackathon, focusing on addressing predefined social challenges in line with this year’s theme: “Youth powering media and information literacy in digital spaces.”
In a gesture of support and encouragement, every team that submits a project to the UNESCO Youth Hackathon will receive complimentary access to Teens in AI’s exclusive AI Adventures Beginner Courses. These courses offer a gateway to the captivating world of artificial intelligence, enabling teens to refine their analytical skills and embark on a transformative learning journey. This presents a unique opportunity for young innovators to leave a lasting legacy and contribute to a brighter tomorrow.
Teens in AI and UNESCO invite the world’s youth to join hands in shaping a more informed, empowered, and equitable future, where technology and education stand as beacons of progress.
