Making Technology and AI Accessible to Under-Resourced Youth Across Europe

In an impactful partnership with Beiersdorf, we are making technology and AI more accessible to under-resourced youth across Europe. Together, we’re hosting a series of nine in-person hackathons at Beiersdorf Group’s European locations over two years, starting in June 2023.

The hackathons, primarily for girls aged 12 to 18 but inclusive of all genders, aim to inspire teens to engage with tech and AI, fostering creativity and practical skills for the future.

Working together for change

How we made it happen

With Beiersdorf’s support, Teens in AI is creating a safe, immersive learning environment for youth with limited exposure to technology and AI. Each hackathon includes workshops led by Beiersdorf’s experts and AI professionals, covering AI, coding, and responsible tech design.

Teens gain insights into AI’s societal impact, while industry mentors guide them through project development, ethical considerations, and the creative process. At the end of each event, teams present their innovative solutions, showcasing their tech4good ideas.

Decoding success

Through this partnership, Teens in AI and Beiersdorf are equipping a new generation with the tech skills and ethical insights to address global challenges. Beiersdorf’s commitment to social impact is investing in a future that prioritises inclusivity, innovation, and responsible AI. Together, we are empowering youth from all backgrounds to build a better, tech-driven future.
